College Bound is a college transition program for high school juniors, seniors, rising college freshman with disabilities, their parents, and professionals in the fields of education, transition and rehabilitation services. Established in 1999, College Bound promotes and supports the success of students with disabilities in higher education. It wasn’t long after Sandy Hermann delivered her baby girl that she found herself in a room -- sitting and waiting. She wanted answers. On the other side of the table from Hermann buzzed a team of doctors eager to share information about a long-term pediatric residential care facility nearby.
